Hello,
I was watching the Oprah Show the other day and they had a couple families who were always using the internet, spending alot of time on technology like ps2, computer and laptop. So, when oprah challenged them not use the technology only for use of homework or work purposes, one family had seemed to be addicted to technology. Day 1 they were still breaking their challenge and were told they weren't allowed to use the technology equipment, so they would complain about being bored and nothing else to do. Day 2 they seem to be struggling with out the use of their computers, ps2. They were pacing around the house and complaining there is nothing to do, so they had to spend more time on family quality time and day 3 they started planning to do things together and by day 6 they had learned they really never knew each other likes or dislikes and realized they needed to spend more time together and do things together and they learned alot from each other and realized they were addicted to their technology and were making them lazy, etc.
