Chief Simon - Education in Elsipogtog

Hello,
Our Chief Jesse Simon was one of the Chiefs along with other Chiefs, signed a $40 million towards to improve education within the next five years. Chief Simon is leaning on putting our micmac language in immersion, and to try and cut the drop out rates, keeping natives in the schools, and to add more artistic & sports programs in our school. I am very proud to have our chief to start working on putting our language first beacause our children are losing our language, and that's our identity, of who we are, without our identity, we would be lost. So, now I'm not worried about our losing our language and that our language will preserve. That's it for now.
