Yes, I enjoy using email as a communication tool, rather than using it as a conversation tool. The only time I would use it as a conversational tool is, when I can't converse with anyone that's not online for a day or trying to get a hold of my friends and family. To me, email is realiable and a fast way to send messages to people. Email is asynchronus, you get to check your email at your own convienence without having to respond immediately. I think that's why people like email so much!
Yes, I think I'm able to deliver it's meaning when sending messages to people. I find myself double-checking my email before I send it to reciepients to make sure my meaning gets across.
One of the elements of netiquette I learned is, to manage one-topic message at a time. When multiple topics are sent in one email, it's more likely other topics will be dropped or ignored.
Another element to netiquette is, setting up an automated reply when away for a few days and telling them when to expect to be reading your email again is polite.
