Truth and Reconciliation
Hi Gail,
I believe their are different ways people can reconcile and face the truth, depending on the circumstances and the person. We as people have been hurt in some way or another, it could be mild to severe and depending on the person if they have been using resources to reach out for help or seeking counselling for their pain , hurt and loss. I think it's easier for a person to reconcile who understands himself/herself and a person who embraces truth openly and harder for others that have not sough help for themselves and people that do not embrace truth openly to take that step to reconciliation and to face the truth. That's it for now.

Circle of Justice
Hi Gail,
I do believe that t's important that the victim and the offender are given an option to take the step of making amends to one another because in the future it would definetly restore both their values and morals instead of leaving them to continue to live in the world of fear and pain and, to take control of their lives again. That's it for now.

Reflecting on How to Think like an Animal
Hi Gail,
After reading "How to Think like an Animal", it gave me a little bit of insight on autistic people. I couldn't imagine how autistic people are very sensitive to things. I was amazed by the author's story and that she designed a chute system for handling cattle in slaughter plants. I had an experience of babysitting an autistic child and as he was sitting there, I sat with him to comfort him because I felt pity for him. As I held him he snapped at me and when in the book to them is nerve wrecking, while for us, it would be comforting. That was my first experience with an autistic child and I told my friend I didn't understand why he snapped at me the way he did, but after reading this piece of article, I understood why. It was very intresting to read . That's it for now.

English work
Hi Gail,
After doing these asignments, I felt as if we weren't doing English but I realized afterwards that we were indeed working on our grammar, punctuation, etc. I'm not sure where I stand in our English course. I would like to get some feedback from you.Let me know how I'm making out on my sentences, paragraphs, etc. Does my topic sentence relate to my paragraph? I like English, I think it's the most important tool we need in business as we interact with many people everyday in our lives, especially in the business world. I think excellent communication skills can be considered an asset, don't you think? I think it would help a person in certain ways, for instance, in sales. That's it for now.

After reading family negative
Hi Gail,
You know, isn't it funny how the media likes to portray things, like for example a perfect family on a commercial where a family all looks happy with a pet playing with them? To me, this is falsifying this "perfect family". Media has so much impact on kids and youths, it affects everyone, especially the younger generations. It's really important to look and see what our children are watching on t.v, internet, media, etc. and to clarify, correct and differentiate the reality and media. As long as our children are told the difference and corrected, they will be given good examples of their morals and values and of course, difference between reality and media. That's it for now.

Life without father
Hi Gail,
As I was reading life without father, I really agreed on the stats when children ages; two and half years old were given an option to chose whom to play with and they chose their fathers. I could relate to that choice because I was attached to my father as my protector and thats what children need-security/protection. I also agree that father's involvement is linked to improve verbal, problem-solving and academic achievement. Growing up as a child, my father was the one who helped me with homework that was emphasize in play manner which I preferred comparsion to my mother all stressed out and frustrated. Women do tend to get easily frustrated than men because I think women are constantly the caretakers of children while men become caretakers only when help is needed. So, I think it's really important to have both parents play a role in their childs life even if the parents are not cohabitating. That's it for now.
